We are pleased to let you know that we are rolling out a new simplified process for user account creation on Oasys. These features are being developed directly in response to feedback we have received from you.
Phase 1 – Now Live
New Administrator User Account Creation Process
From now on, new administrators will receive a secure activation link, rather than usernames and passwords, by email. This allows each admin person to create their own login details, making the setup process more secure and user-friendly.
Phase 2 – Coming Soon
Phase 2 updates we will be introducing new candidate activation links. We will be in touch when this is due to be released.
These updates will further streamline the onboarding experience for all users (administrators and candidates alike), making the entire process smoother and more secure.
We want to express our genuine appreciation for the valuable feedback you’ve shared, which has directly shaped these improvements. Please know that our ears are always open, if you have any suggestions or further feedback, we would be truly grateful to hear from you.

Just over a week ago, we were in touch about an update to creating Administrator User Types on Oasys.
We are pleased to let you know that we are rolling out Phase 2 of simplifying the process for creating new Oasys Users. As you know Phase 1 regarding Administrator User Accounts went live on July 7. Next week, Phase 2 will go live.
Phase 2 – New Assessee User Creation Process
Coming next week (w/c July 21)
Going forward, new assessees will be emailed a unique, secure activation link (no more passwords in emails). They will then create their own login details on the platform, making the setup process more secure and user-friendly.
Existing assessees who request a password reset, will also receive the updated email format.
These updates will further streamline the onboarding experience for all users (administrators and assessees alike), making the entire process more streamlined and secure.
Potential Actions to Take
All the ‘User-Created Notification’ email templates (the email containing the Assessee’s username and password) will be automatically updated to include the new secure link.
If you have previously modified the ‘User-Created Notification’ email (on the Organisation tab), you will need to modify the new template to reflect your customisations.
The current ‘User-Created Notification’ email templates, which include usernames and passwords, will be available in the template dropdown for new assessees until August 4. After that date, these templates will be discontinued and removed.
